Cha Cha CHANGE

Change—Different Season

Talk about coming in with a bang, Autumn arrived in North Texas with a festive flair and refreshing temps. What a blessing!

After the sweltering summer heat, the cooler weather and shorter days are a welcome relief.

Change is constant.

I recall a friend saying most people hate change because it reminds them that they are not in control.

What if we embraced change as an instructor?

Change—Different Perspective

Instead of falling apart, digging in our heels, or working ourselves into an emotional tizzy, what if we learned to view change as a way to learn more about God? Not mere theoretical knowledge, but the faith-with-works understanding through application.

Applying, by faith, what God has said in any given “change” situation could alter everything.

The stiffness of resistance could be replaced with ready acceptance.

Instead of being agitated, we could delight in being educated in the ways of God.

Angst and every bit of emotional energy could be exchanged by claiming a promise or following God’s guidance. Peace is sure to follow.

Then, when we see the fruit of obedience and experience the blessings from doing life God’s way, we might begin to relish change. Imagine that!

Change—Different Experience

Our attitudes and interactions with others could be transformative as we live, demonstrating an understanding of God’s sovereignty.

Nothing is willy-nilly or haphazard, no matter how hard the enemy tries to convince us otherwise.

Oswald Chambers wrote, “The things that happen do not happen by chance, they happen entirely in the decree of God. God is working out His purposes.”

Humbly accepting that whatever comes our way has been divinely appointed or permitted, we can let change off the hook.

Let’s breathe a huge sigh of relief, relax, and enjoy life more.

Change—Different Life

Change WILL come, but when we modify how we view and approach change, knowing God is in it all—life can be very different.

“Beware of harking back to what you once were when God wants you to be something you have never been.” Thank you for reminding us Mr. Chambers that God has bigger plans for us than we can imagine.

A few days ago, a dear friend left her chrysalis (Kristoph) with me when she headed out of town. She, and God by His divine timing, gifted me with a front-row seat to behold the wonder of His intention for this magnificent creature.

Watch! I’m about to carry out something new! And now it’s springing up—don’t you recognize it? I’m making a way in the wilderness and paths in the desert.

Love this Nancy, thank you for sharing!! 💙 I’m learning more that, relying on and keeping my eyes fixed on The One Who Never Changes helps me to face all of the inevitable changes in life with sweet grace, dare I say even curiosity. What will I see Him do next as I trust Him? What wisdom and grace will He impart? How will He reveal more of Himself for me to know? It’s like an adventure 😄

I hope you are embracing the current circumstances with that constant, steadfast, robust faith that sees Him everywhere. Venture on, beloved pilgrim, we’re one day closer to Home.
